Jennifer Ross
Jennifer is a creative, free-spirit who is
balanced by a deep sense of responsibility. Jennifer graduated from
McGill University with a BA in English and Cultural Studies, studied in
Israel and then traveled extensively. During this time her love of
poetry, music and dance flourished. With an interest in Eastern and
Western philosophies, the yogic path, and finding a meaningful
connection to Spirit, she looked for life’s work to incorporate all
these elements. She found her calling in Waldorf Education, training at
the Rudolf Steiner Centre in Toronto in 2001. Jennifer’s first teaching
position was at Alan Howard Waldorf Academy in Toronto, where she
carried a class from Grade Two until the end of Grade Five, finishing in
2006 in order to begin her own family.
Jennifer has two
beautiful children and with them moved to the Comox Valley to join the
Comox Valley Waldorf School when the doors officially opened in 2011.
Since that time she has worked as Class teacher, Subject teacher, and
has been part of the Collective Leadership team, serving as Faculty
Director. Jennifer graduated the first Comox Valley Waldorf School class
in 2015-16! She has experience working as a mentor for the Rudolf
Steiner Centre teacher training program, and most recently she has been
engaged in offering courses through several Waldorf Conferences where
she offered her expertise in Biography Work as it relates to personal
development.
Jennifer is certain that the world is ready for
Daily Wonder and is inspired to hear your stories of leading your
children to meet the world with purpose.
